Calendar sync

What it does

Mankai gives you a private calendar link. Subscribe to it from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, and your sessions, appointments and blocked time appear there without any typing.

One switch, Hide the details, makes every event read Busy, with no names or notes.

How Mankai works with Calendar sync

The link is a standard calendar feed. Your calendar app checks it from time to time and shows what is in Mankai. You find the link in Settings, then Integrations, on the Calendar sync card.

If you share the link by mistake, press Create a new link. The old one stops working, so any calendar that used it needs the new one.

Good to know

• It runs one way. Changes you make in your calendar app do not come back into Mankai, so you still add and change sessions in Mankai.
• Your calendar app checks the link on its own schedule, so a new booking can take hours to appear, sometimes longer.
• Anyone who has the link can see your calendar, so keep it private.
• Google Calendar adds a calendar by link only on a computer, in a web browser, not in its phone app.

How to set up

1. In Mankai, open Settings, then Integrations.
2. Press Edit on the Calendar sync card and copy Your calendar link.
3. In your calendar app, add a calendar from a link: From URL in Google Calendar, New Calendar Subscription in Apple Calendar, or Subscribe from web in Outlook. Paste the link.
4. If you want every event to show only as Busy, turn on Hide the details.
