Yes. It is a WordPress plugin. You install it on hosting you control. Or buy Setup and I will get it running with you.
Installing is a normal WordPress plugin upload, and a setup wizard walks you through the basics. You still need hosting you control, PHP 8.1 or newer, WordPress 6.4 or newer, a mail plugin like FluentSMTP so your email reaches inboxes, and Stripe or PayPal if you take card payments. Optional Setup and Migration is $799.99 one time after you have the plugin.
No. Mankai works with the theme you already have. Gutenberg and Elementor are both fine.
Pro is $249.99 a year. Free runs without a paid license and the admin does not lock. Pro adds quotes, session add-ons, weekly hours and limited-date booking, expenses, gift cards, coupons, custom workflows, custom email templates, advanced forms, advanced portal and login design, advanced reports, and the staff installable app. No per-client fee.
If Pro runs out, you go back to the free features. You are not locked out, and nothing is deleted. Your clients, sessions, galleries, and files stay. You can't start new quotes, coupons, or gift cards or add expenses until you renew, and the ones you already made keep working. On the Pro download, the Overview shows an Activate your license card until you renew.
No. Clients pay through your Stripe or PayPal at normal processor rates. Mankai takes no cut. Cash, checks, bank transfers, and other payments you take outside Mankai can be recorded by hand too.
Stripe and PayPal, through your own connected accounts. One processor takes payments at a time. There is no Square integration today. You can also record cash, checks, and bank transfers by hand.
No App Store app. You and your clients use Mankai in the browser, and it works on a phone. Pro adds a staff phone app that you install from your own site.
Yes. Setup and Migration is optional, one time, $799.99. Buy Mankai first, then send a setup request. I review it and send an invoice. Nothing auto-charges from the form. Migration covers what I can move from your current tools, not a guaranteed one-click import of every competitor.
In your WordPress database, on your hosting. I'm not renting your client list back to you. Uninstalling Mankai doesn't delete it unless you turn that option on yourself.
Licensed support covers the CRM. Use the contact page, open every day, 8 AM to 2 PM Central (Wisconsin time). You remain responsible for WordPress hosting, backups, core and plugin updates, domain DNS, and email deliverability setup on your server.
