Gutenberg

What it does

Gutenberg is the block editor built into WordPress. Mankai adds its own blocks to it: Testimonials, Contact Form, Identity (your studio details), Call to Action and Gift Card.

A block shows live studio information on a page, so when you add or change a testimonial in Mankai, the page updates by itself. The blocks use your theme's fonts.

How Mankai works with Gutenberg

You add a Mankai block the way you add any block: press the plus button in the editor, search for Mankai, and pick one. The Testimonials block shows the testimonials you added in Mankai, and the Contact Form block puts your inquiry form on the page.

Good to know

• There is no booking block and no client gallery block. To put booking on a page, use the [booking_form] shortcode, or link a button to your booking page.
• Selling gift cards through the Gift Card block needs an active Pro licence.

How to set up

1. In Mankai, add a testimonial under Studio, then Testimonials.
2. In WordPress, add a new page and press the + button.
3. Search for Mankai and pick a block, such as Testimonials.
4. Set the width and the heading in the panel on the right.
5. Press Publish, then View Page.
