Payments
Let clients pay with PayPal, or with a card through PayPal, into your PayPal business account.
In Mankai: Free
What it does
Connect your PayPal Business account and clients can pay a booking deposit, an invoice or a print order with PayPal, or with a card through PayPal.
You make an app in PayPal's developer area and paste its client ID and secret into Mankai. The money goes to your own PayPal account, and PayPal's normal fees apply.
How Mankai works with PayPal
After a client pays, PayPal tells Mankai through a webhook for the event Payment capture completed, and Mankai records the payment. You add that webhook in your PayPal app and paste its webhook ID into Mankai.
Practice in Sandbox with PayPal test accounts, then switch to Live. Sandbox and Live have separate apps and separate keys.
Good to know
- One payment processor takes payments at a time. You choose PayPal or Stripe, not both.
