Chapter 9 · Galleries

Favorites, delivery and downloads

About 8 minutes

Once your client sends their picks, you edit those photos, upload the finished ones and deliver the gallery. Then they download them without a watermark.

Have this ready

  • A gallery whose client has sent their picks, as in What your client sees.
  • The edited photos, saved with the same file names as the picks.

Step by step

Get there

  1. In the top bar, press Galleries.

  2. Press the gallery your client has picked from.

See the picks

  1. Press Selections on the left.

  2. Your client's picks and notes are listed here. Press Copy file names to find them in your editor.

  3. Choose your editor, press Copy, and paste the names into your editor's search.

Upload the finished photos

  1. Edit the picked photos and export them with the same file names.

    Keeping the file names lets Mankai match each finished photo to the pick it came from.

  2. Back in the gallery, press Images, then Add photos.

  3. Choose your edited files. They appear with a New badge.

  4. Press Remove proofs to take the watermarked proofs out of the gallery.

  5. Press Remove proofs again to confirm. The proofs are kept, so you can put them back.

Deliver

  1. Press Deliver at the top right.

  2. Press Deliver gallery. Your client gets an email saying their photos are ready.

    Delivering cannot be undone. It takes the watermark off and lets your client download.

  3. The top left now says Delivered.

What your client downloads

  1. Your client's home screen now says Your photos are ready. They press Open.

  2. In the gallery they press Download all for every photo, or the arrow on one photo.

You're done when

The gallery says Delivered, and your client can download clean, finished photos.

If something's not right

Deliver is missing

A gallery that asks for picks cannot be delivered until your client has sent them. After that, Deliver appears at the top right.

How long can my client download?

Delivery sets a closing date from the session's package. Change it any time in the Access panel, and tick Email the client when you give more time.
