The Get paid online screen offers Stripe, PayPal or Not now. Connecting one means copying keys from your account, which is easier in a sitting of its own.

So choose Not now here. Connect Stripe or PayPal in Chapter 5 does the real connecting, and you can record cash, checks and bank transfers by hand until then.

Step by step

Get there

  1. On How you charge, press Continue.

  2. Get paid is marked in the list on the left.

Set it up

  1. Press Not now, then Continue.

    A grey note confirms that invoices still go out, and that you mark cash, checks and bank transfers as paid yourself.

You're done when

Not now is chosen, and the wizard moves on to Make sure your emails arrive. Next: The two add-on screens.

If something's not right

Can I connect Stripe or PayPal later?

Yes. Connect either one any time in Settings, under Integrations. Connect Stripe or PayPal shows every screen.

I already have my Stripe keys. Can I type them here?

You can, but it is easier to wait. Chapter 5 explains test and live keys and the webhook on a screen of its own.
