Chapter 2 · The setup wizard

Open the setup wizard

About 1 minutes

The setup wizard is eight short screens: your studio, your logo, how you charge, card payments, two add-ons and a final check. It takes about five minutes.

Everything you enter is saved as you go, so closing the tab loses nothing.

Have this ready

  • Mankai installed and turned on. If it is not, start with Install and activate Mankai.
  • Your studio name, the email address clients should see, and your logo file.

Step by step

Get there

  1. Press Mankai CRM in the WordPress menu.

  2. Press Setup Wizard. It also opens by itself the first time.

Set it up

  1. Press Get started at the bottom right.

    The blue pill at the top right counts the screens. Here it says Step 1 of 8.

You're done when

The wizard shows Your studio, and the pill says Step 2 of 8. Next: Your studio.

If something's not right

I do not see Mankai CRM in the WordPress menu

Mankai is not turned on yet, or you are signed in without administrator rights. Press Activate under Plugins, or sign in as the administrator. See Install and activate Mankai.

I closed the wizard halfway

Press Mankai CRM again. The wizard opens on the welcome screen with your earlier answers filled in, so press Continue through the screens you already did.

The wizard says Welcome back

The wizard was finished on this site before. Your settings are filled in. Change what you need and press Save changes on the last screen.
